Meagan Prewitt is a classically trained oboist, pianist, and music librarian based in Nashville, TN. Her career brings together performance, teaching, and librarianship, and she enjoys supporting musicians both onstage and behind the scenes.
Meagan is primarily the Adjunct Professor of Oboe at Tennessee Tech University, but she also maintains her own private studio. Her students have ranged in age from middle school to post-collegiate.
Meagan offers handcrafted oboe reeds for purchase, designed for consistency, reliability, and a beautiful tone. She also provides personalized reed making instruction for oboists of every level.
Meagan performs in a wide variety of ensembles throughout Middle Tennessee. Her upcoming performances include orchestra, chamber, and solo concerts.
